    Itinerary

    We will explore the best preserved antique city in Turkey : Ephesus.

    Our first stop will be at the House of Virgin Mary : this small house on top of Mount Solmissos has been recognized by the Vatican as the last resting place Virgin Mary. 

    In Ephesus, which we will access from the upper gate, we will visit the Fountains of Trajan, the temples of Hadrian and Domition, Privates Houses, the Library of Celsus, the Scholastic baths, the Bouloterion and the Great Theater which had a capacity of an audience of 24.000. 

    After the visit of Ephesus, which we will leave from the lower gate, we will go for lunch and get a taste of local gastronomy. 

    We will then go to a leather fashion show to learn more about this traditional Turkish craft. 

    To end our tour, we will stop at the Artemis Temple, one of the Seven Wonders.

    Notes:Price per person joining a cosmopolite English speaking group with already a reduction for bigger families or parties.

    Pick-up also possible from the airport of Izmir. 

    The Participants must be able to walk long distances over uneven and cobblestone surface under the sun. Therefore bringing Comfortable footwear and clothes, hat, sun cream and sun glasses are recommended.  

    Winters in some regions of Turkey can be quite cold. Hence appropriate clothes are recommended.
