    Coffee making course (with certificate) in a cofee shop, coffee tasting in oldest coffee houses of Istanbul , Spice Bazaar, Ottoman coffee storages, oldest coffee shop of Istanbul , Turkish Delight tasting in the oldest historical delight shop, Kurukahvedji Inn.

    Coffee is national drink of Turkey that has a long historical tradition. Its story began in Egypt , where the Ottomans brought the first coffee beans to Istanbul in 1519. The first coffee shops were open some 30 years later in Eminönü district. There were prohibiton decrees by some Ottoman Sultans. Our tour begins with a visit to a museum that have some exhibits related to Turkish coffee history. Following a Turkish Coffee Course participants will follow the historical “Coffee Route” – where we will have coffee tasting in this historical venues. Tiny streets, historical walkways, intriguing old bazaars, Ottoman coffee.

    Price per person ing a cosmopolite English speaking group with already a reduction for bigger familiesparties.

    The Participants must be able to walk long distances over uneven and cobblestone surface under the sun. Therefore bringing Comfortable footwear and clothes, hat, sun cream and sun glasses are recommended.

    Winters in some regions of Turkey can be quite cold. Hence appropriate clothes are recommended.
