THREE DAYS TRIP TO DELPHI and the METEORA (Seat on Coach) - Anker Turizm Travel
With this three day sightseeing tour in Greece from Athens including Meteora and Delphi, you will visit some of the most interesting sites in Greece. Visit the archeological site of Delphi with Apollo temple and the Unesco World Heritage-listed rock-tower monasteries of Meteora.
The Participants must be able to walk long distances over uneven and cobblestone surface under the sun. Therefore bringing Comfortable footwear and clothes, hat, sun cream and sun glasses are recommended.
Winters in some regions of Greece can be quite cold. Hence appropriate clothes are recommended.

Depart through Thebes, Livadia (short stop) and Arachova for Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Afternoon free. Overnight stay in Delphi.
Morning free. In the afternoon depart through Central Greece to Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks, crowned by the Meteora Monasteries. Overnight stay in Kalambaka.
Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit the Byzantine monasteries. Return to Athens passing by the heroic monument of King Leonidas of Sparta at Thermopylae.
Entrance to the monasteries: Appropriate clothing is required. Ladies should not wear short skirts and must have long sleeves. Men are not allowed to wear shorts.
Meteora Monasteries: We visit Great Meteoro Monastery and St. Stefanos. Every Tuesday, we are visitng instead of Great Meteoro, Varlaam monastery.
Prices: All the mentioned prices are per person on twin sharing basis. In case of one traveler the single supplement option has to be chosen.
Hotel accommodation: A class (4*): Apollonia hotel & Divani Meteora hotel (or similar hotels) - T class (3*): Delphi Palace hotel & Orfeas hotel (or similar hotels).
Hotel accomodation tax: Paid directly in hotels as following: 5* hotels - 4 Euro per room/per night, 4* hotels - 3 Euro per room/per night, 3* hotels - 1.5 Euro per room/per night.
