|Q. How will I recognize the tour guide ?|
A. At the exit of the airport or port terminal, your driver will hold a board mentioning your name or the name of your group leader.
If meeting in a hotel, the meeting place is the lobby.
|Q. Which languages are available ?|
A. Almost any language.
Yet, the prices quoted on these pages are valid for the so-called classical languages ie, English, French, German, Dutch.
If you wish a tour guide in another language, if available, a supplement may be charged.
|Q. What type of vehicle are used for the excursions ?|
A. Our vehicle are all equipped with air-conditioning.
The type of vehicle will depend on the number of passengers (above 6 years)
Our smallest vehicle is a salon car for up to 2 passengers (above 6 years) and our biggest coach counts up to 47 seats.
In any case, while making the reservation, Anker Travel will choose the most optimal vehicle for you.
|Q. What do the indicated prices include ?|
A. The indicated prices are per person and change depending the size of the group.
They include the vehicle with driver at your disposal for the duration of the tour, the tour guide, and if indicated as such, the entrance fees and the parking lots.
|Q. What are the main cancellation policies for shore excursions ?|
A. In low season (November-March) :
- For cancellations more than 72 hours before the tour, full refund except for the 20% deposit
- For cancellations beyond this deadline, no refund.
|Q. What are Anker Travel's responsibilities ?|
A. (a) It is the duty of Anker Travel to arrange for the transfers and other services as per customers request (vehicle according to number of passengers, meeting location, date, time and arrival place, tour guide, places to visit) and to confirm this reservation as such to the customer. The maximum number of passengers per vehicle cannot be overcrowded unless with 1 child under 6.
(b) Anker Travel cannot be held responsible for facts of third parties nor for traffic (air-sea-road) delays, causes due to wheather conditions, local authority decisions, strike, technical defects or any other matter beyond our control which may cause the cancellation or delay of the transfer and result any other extra charges. Indeed Anker Turizm will always have the delay confirmed by the concerned transporter (air-sea-road) and allow cancellation of the transfer only after a delay of minimum two hours or non-presence of the customer on the next passengers list, whatsoever the means of transportation.
(c) Nor can Anker Travel be held responsible when such a delay causes the cancellation or delay of a next service such as missing a connection, cancellation of an overnight in hotel nor for the extra charges resulting from this delay. In such an event, Anker Travel can only propose a shorter tour - with no refund though - in order to minimize the delay/cancellation of the next service(s).
